School Announcements  Principal of the Year Congratulations to Ms. Lovell for making Mount Airy City School's Principal of the Year!!  Jump Rope for Heart Mr. Dowell our Physical Education Teacher will head up our annual "Jump Rope for Heart" campaign. The kick-off date is January 30, 2012.  Family Fun Night (2-3-12) The PTO will have a "Family Fun Night" on February 3, 2011 from 5:30 till 7:30. We hope you will come and join the FUN!!!  Class Pictures on February 16, 2012 Class pictures will be made on February 16, 2011.  Early Release on February 16, 2012 Students will dismiss at 11:30 on February 16, 2012. Teachers will remain for staff development.  No School for Students/Staff Work Day February 17, 2012 School will be closed for students on February 17, 2012 for a staff work day.  PTO Meeting (2-21-12) The Tharrington Primary School PTO will meet February 21, 2012 in the school's staff lounge at 7:50 am.
